The trees had to be uplifted

When we first purchased the property for Unbridled Paths, back in 2016, we knew we had a lot of work ahead of us. Before we could even think about providing services as an Equine Assisted Therapeutic Riding Center, we had to clear the land and prepare it for construction. It was a daunting task, but we were determined to make our dream a reality.

We started by establishing Unbridled Paths as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. This process was time-consuming, but necessary to ensure that we could eventually receive donations and grants to fund our dream. We knew that once the clearing of the land was complete, we would begin building the barn and the arena. After months of hard work, the land was cleared and ready for the next phase.

One of the biggest challenges we faced during the land clearing process was cutting down trees. While we were excited to begin construction on the barn and arena, we knew that we couldn't just bulldoze everything in our path. We had to be careful and methodical in our approach, ensuring that we were minimizing our impact on the environment and preserving as much natural beauty as possible.

Our team worked tirelessly, carefully cutting down trees and removing them from the property. It was a slow and laborious process, but we were determined to do it right. We knew that by taking the time to preserve the natural landscape, we would be creating a more peaceful and serene environment for our participants to enjoy.

Looking back on those early days, we're proud of the work we did to clear the land and create a space that's not only functional but also beautiful. It was a challenging task, but it was a necessary one to make our dream a reality. We're grateful for the support of our volunteers and excited to start providing equine-assisted therapeutic services to those in need.
