Through equine-assisted therapy, we help individuals develop physical strength, emotional resilience, confidence, and meaningful human connection — all within a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Unbridled Paths proudly accepts Step Up For Students scholarship funds.
This Florida program helps eligible families personalize their child’s education by providing financial support for approved services, including certain therapies and specialized learning opportunities.
Families may be able to use these funds toward our therapeutic-riding program.

Our work is made possible by dedicated, trained volunteers and community partners who generously give their time, resources, and expertise. Our volunteers receive training to help ensure they can confidently and safely support our participants, horses, and programs while creating a welcoming and meaningful experience for everyone we serve.
Meet The Founder
Nicole Messer - Founder & Executive Director
PATH International Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor
Nicole Messer’s love of horses began at age 10 with her first pony. After more than 20 years in commercial real estate, she felt called to combine her professional experience, passion for horses, and desire to serve individuals with special needs.
That calling became Unbridled Paths, a place where meaningful connections with horses create opportunities for healing, confidence, independence, and growth.
As a PATH International Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor, Nicole leads the organization with compassion, experience, and a commitment to helping every participant discover what is possible.
Nicole’s PATH Intl. certification reflects a commitment to recognized professional standards in therapeutic riding instruction.
